Iranian supporters mull human chain around Isfahan nuke plant

Iranians mull forming human chain around Uranium Conversion Facility (UCF centre in Isfahan to back up their peaceful nuclear programmes.

The move is an attempt to mark that Iran's nuclear activities are for peace, the spokesman for students Justice-seeking Movement told the state radio.

The movement plans to win backing from student movements and supporters to set up a human chain in support of IRI's nuclear programmes, with a high-profile public support at home.

The human chain setup is set for Aug 16, 2005, Javad Miri, the spokesman for the movement said.Tehran has removed seals from UFC centre in Isfahan, after a green light given by IAEA board of governors which has endorsed Iran's peaceful nuclear development times and over.

The so-called EU-3 failed to reach an agreement with the Islamic Republic over Iran's peaceful nuclear activities.

Iran has turned down a package proposal sent by EU, full of incentives which Iranian officials interpreted it as a "joke", since it deprived Iran, a party of Non-proliferation treaty, of its basic nuclear rights.
