Iran among top tens members of ISESCO

LONDON, November 6 (IranMania) - Regional Deputy Director for Administration and Financial Department at the Islamic, Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) Ali Ebrahimi said here Saturday that Iran is among the top ten member states of ISESCO.

Some 51 Islamic states are members of ISESCO, he said.

Speaking to IRNA, he said Iran has made very significant progress in the fields of education, science and culture.

The organization is to promote educational and vocational courses on sports and campaign against drug addiction, he pointed out.

ISESCO has so far spent $ 140,000 to implement and promote its educational plans, he said.
