Riot in Gheshm Island

Oct 16, 2005, 23:59 A riot took place, on Saturday, in the Island of Gheshm located in the Persian Gulf. Several public buildings were set on fire by angry residents who retaliated to the regime's forces' brutality.

The protest started as a young man was wounded by Militiamen and resulted in tens of injured among the demonstrators and security agents.
