Several militiamen, including a commander, were killed or wounded in a gun battle near the southeastern City of Piranshahr.
Gholam-Ali Beigi and his security team felt, yesterday, in an ambush made by what the regime's official sources have qualified as "bandits and renegades". Beigi was killed by several bullets and several of his officers are in critical conditions.
Armed struggle and attacks against the regime's symbols of power and security forces have increased in the last months as more and more Iranians are believing that the clerics won't step down from power by peaceful means.
